California Classic Sale

Thank you to the Fresno-Madera Holstein Club for hosting a memorable State Convention in Fresno this year! Host Night was held at the Maddox Dairy and embraced the convention’s carnival theme with midway rides and a festive atmosphere. Estimated 500 attendees enjoyed the great comraderie of Holstein friends!

State Convention Sale ~ This year’s sale averaged $5,139 on 57 lots. High seller at $14,000 was the first choice female by Doorman from Silvermaple Windham Camille (EX-92), the Supreme Champion of the Junior shows at last fall’s World Dairy Expo. Consigned by Christian Cunningham and Miles Price, the pick was struck off to Ken Melvold, Howard Binder and Joanne Evans.
Pictured here with the Maddox families and sales staff is lot #2 a September Doorman calf from an Uno daughter of Apple from the Price family in Martinton, Ill. sold for $9500 to Pat Maddox.
